About CDOE

  • Centre of Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Panjab University Chandigarh previously known as ‘USOL- University School of Open Learning’ started its journey in 1971 as Directorate of Correspondence Courses to embrace the mission to take the quality higher education to the door steps of those who cannot reach to university. With its 53 years of dedicated service in distance education, we have come a long way in becoming one of the pioneer institutes of distance education in India.   • We offer a wide range of programme/course such as traditional Undergraduate programmes (BA/ B.Com) and Post graduate courses (MA/M.Com), Professional programmes (B.Ed., B.LIS. MBA) along with a large number of Job-oriented & Skill-based diploma and certificate course. Students of CDOE undertake the same syllabi, and appear in the same examination as of regular students of Panjab University. The degrees offered by CDOE is recognised by UGC’s Distance Education Bureau and equivalent to the degrees offered by regular departments of the Universities in India.

  • For SC/ST Students availing Post Matric Scholarship are required to select all the following conditions:

    2. Category : SC/ST
    3. Punjab Domicile : Yes
    4. Family Annual Income : upto 2.5 Lac

Steps To Apply

  1. Select the Programme (UG/PG) and fill the complete Admission-cum Examination Form
  2. Submit the Form and note down your Login Id and Password.
  3. Login with your username/password again at https://cdoeadmissions.puexam.in/
  4. Pay the Fee either through online mode i.e. by Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking or fee can also be paid in any branch of Post Office all over India, after generating the post office Fee Challan.
    Important Note:-You are advised to pay the fee through Post Office Challan/Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card preferably. If you will use any other mode, your fee confirmation may get delayed/failed. In such cases, CDOE will not be responsible.
  5. Login again at https://cdoeadmissions.puexam.in/ if pay fee using Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking /after two days if fee is deposited in the Post office
  6. If fee paid through online mode but not confirmed, please click on confirm my fee link and then click on Continue.
  7. Complete the process by uploading your scanned photograph and signature
  8. Take a printout of your complete Admission cum Examination form.
  9. Document Verification: An appointment letter will be generated with print of the Admission-cum Examination Form. You have to come to CDOE on the given date along with print-out of Admission cum Examination form and original documents for verification and confirmation of admission. In case, you are unable to come to CDOE, then send the copy of this printout along with supporting documents to following address for verification and confirmation of admission at the following address: Director, Centre for Distance and Online Education, Panjab University, Chandigarh-160014.
