About CDOE
- Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Panjab University, Chandigarh, previously known as ‘USOL- University School of Open Learning’, started its journey in 1971 as the Directorate of Correspondence Courses, with a mission to bring quality higher education to the doorsteps of those who cannot reach a university.
With 55 years of dedicated service in distance education, CDOE has evolved into one of the pioneering institutions of distance education in India.
Today, CDOE is fully equipped to cater to the ever-evolving needs and expectations of 21st-century learners.

- For SC/ST Students availing Post Matric Scholarship are required to select all the following conditions:
1. State : Punjab
2. Category : SC/ST
3. Punjab Domicile : Yes
4. Family Annual Income : upto 2.5 Lac
- SC students are required to apply Freeship Card along with Admission Form .

Steps To Apply
- Select the Programme (UG/PG) and fill the complete Admission-cum Examination Form
- Submit the Form and note down your Login Id and Password.
- Login with your username/password again at https://cdoeadmissions.puexam.in/
- Pay the Fee either through online mode i.e. by Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking or fee can also be paid in any branch of Post Office all over India, after generating the post office Fee Challan.
Important Note:-You are advised to pay the fee through Post Office Challan/Internet Banking/Debit
Card/Credit Card preferably. If you will use any other mode, your fee confirmation
may get delayed/failed. In such cases, CDOE will not be responsible.
- Login again at https://cdoeadmissions.puexam.in/ if pay fee using Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking /after two days if fee is deposited in the Post office
- If fee paid through online mode but not confirmed, please click on confirm my fee link and then click on Continue.
- Complete the process by uploading your scanned photograph and signature
- Take a printout of your complete Admission cum Examination form.
- Document Verification: An appointment letter will be generated with print of the Admission-cum Examination Form. You have to come to CDOE on the given date along with print-out of Admission cum Examination form and original documents for verification and confirmation of admission. In case, you are unable to come to CDOE, then send the copy of this printout along with supporting documents to following address for verification and confirmation of admission at the following address: Director, Centre for Distance and Online Education, Panjab University, Chandigarh-160014.
